In January we will be starting the signup process where people will have the chance to signup for beta testing, keep an eye on the pirate simulator site when testing signup will be possible it will be done from that site.

Just a little extra note, The owner of Piratesahoy i think that would be william will receive a final special edition copy of our game and 1 extra special edition copy to give away like he's is currently doing with AOP.

We will also give 5 special edition copy's away ourselves to promote the game.
 
Copies? I thought it would be a downloadable game, a mmorpg. But can you tell something more about pirate simulator, what kind o game it is, and what story. etc.
 
No it's a full game, completely in 3D, with a free open story play where you can choose different directions with famous pirates like Blackbeard etc. location the entire caribbean with free downloadable expansion adding to the map. Starting with 25 different ship classes as we are at the moment, there might be more, and more will also be added onto as free downloadable addons.

It looks very very nice - quite beautiful indeed.....maybe too beautiful - it would break my heart to sink and pillage those amazing ships!!

I saw the screenshots, and WOW, they look awesome! Where can a read more about the game? I didn't see any write up about it.
 
Wow! That screenshots look really good. Well let's wait and see what the developers are up to... What kind of system they got for us. I wanna play sum kinda thief or a spy <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Or a simple, dirty, always drunken sea dog ^^
 
Some new screenshots got added, when it will be possible to signup for testing you will see the option on the PirateSimulator website.

hey, that's the HMS victory on one of the screenshots! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" /> nelson's gonna like that. it's on the screenshot of the battle against the pirate ship. if it's not, then it's VERY similar judging by the stern of the ship.

are those the definitive islands? they don't look nearly as good as the ships or the sea. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
