just as an update: first, yes we read all your posts. Second, the new patch finally seems finished, and goes into testing now. We will hold back with a date though, as it proved dangerous last time Sorry for that.

There it is. No timing promised, just a statement that they ARE paying attention and they finally have the latest patch version ready for testing.

Hopefully this means the new patch is just a couple of weeks away at most, but do note. Muldini did NOT quote any date or timing, just saying that they are still working on it.

I've been holding my breath for weeks, havent started a new campaign, cant even play MP cause I went back to 1.41 =\
 
Yup it's not gonna do much good this patch as i had the pleasure to pick apart the patch in testing <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

But as before i will take all the good things out of it and patch it in the upcoming supermod update 4 that is why i been waiting to adjust whatever is needed and add whatever is needed. And as everyone will know this original patch will also bring starforce crap again, which the supermod update will not.

The new patch will not bring starfarce crap back to the game.

It will re-insert StarFart in new and mysterious ways.
(Just like the last patch did.)

And as I had the pleasure to watch,
a very nice person on another Forum had
their indiference to Starfart kicked out of them
by Starfart, and stomped into the ground,
then a 34 story shopping mall was erected on the spot.

Moral,

Never underestimate StarFart.

Red Jack any upates you made can be added if you want, did you add it to the up to date supermod ? Which should be update 3 if so all i need is the updated files to add it to the next update of the supermod.

Hmm, I might be tempted to reinstall and try again; will just have to wait and see. Back to PotC in the meantime...
 
Cyberops, what are you going to include in the supermod?
I have made 4 other mods:
- French Soldiers (skins)
- English Soldiers (skins)
- Royal Navy Mod (skins, english boarders, and new ship)
- Dutch Yacht (new ship)

are you going to include officer puppy`s sounds, and Redjacks mod too?
 
Anything that has been added to the supermod by you guys will be added if you could send me the files and updated files then that would be great. You can send it all to cyberops31@gmail.com

within the coming weeks im expecting my new PC to arrive and then im gonna be doing a lot of updating work on different projects we have running so that goes for the supermod to.

Well everyone the patch has finally been released, this means the coming 2 weeks i will be going trough this patch and see what actually got fixed and what they broke again or what they messed around with. already i know that most of the stuff that got into this patch don't do much good but we will see if there is still anything usefull in there. The update will probably after the holidays because i also have family obligations like most people do offcourse. After the holidays at the beginning of January i will be releasing update 4 of the supermod.

5. Launch the title as normal (by double-clicking on the desktop icon, or select Age of Pirates - Caribbean tales from the Programs menu).

Uninstalling the Patch
Patch 1.43 is removed during a regular uninstallation of the title.
