Officer dialog options

Hi, mateys!

I have some problems with two of the dialog options of my officers. I use the buid 11, and I haven't modified the file Enc_Officer_dialog.c (although I have read through it because I think the problem is there).

1.- Polite method of firing the officer. I thought that if I chose this option, then I could hire the officer later (as the dialog says: "I'd like to be able to find you if I need you again!"). But when I talk that officer again, he gives me the same answer as if I had fired him meanly, and I can't hire him again! ("I told you, captain, I won't return. I have my own pride.") What happens?

2.- Flying a new flag. When I choose this option, "Bring down our colors; we're flying a new flag.", automatically the answer of my officer is "Very well, I'll tell the crew to hoist British colors". But he doesn't give me the opportunity to choose what flag I want!! Moreover, I'm at war with the english (reputation -119), so I shouldn't rise that flag.

Any help?

2) Aye, dat be kinda quirky indeed, but frankly Fred Bob hain't ne'er quite unnerstood all de flag changin' stuff an' he seldom changes nationallity! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

I had that "Raise a new flag" problem with Build 11... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> But it never got solved, as, like FB, I don't care much about that sort of thing, after all, nobody survives to tell the tale... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" /> Hey, we should make a mod in which based on your luck and the size of the enemy and your ship, it is calculated if a member of the enemy crew survives to inform the officials... My sympathies, Acerox, maybe you'll just have to do the pirate thing: Get near, and THEN raise the Jolly Roger! ARRR! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
 
1 was a bug, yes, and fixed in 12.
2 is superceded by Kieron's new nations screen, so bug or not (and it certainly appears bug, yes! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />) it's passed by the wayside.
 
If you fire Fred Bob you WILL be able to find him and `re-hire` him again... I set that up and love the way it works... If you fire him he'll walk away and eventually fade out... You will have to FIND him again to `re-hire` him - and if you talk to Orable Caron on FdF he'll give you a clue as to where... And when you do find Fred Bob again, he'll ask you for more money... But you'll gladly pay it because... because.... BECAUSE it's FRED BOB! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

I have edited the file Enc_Officer_dialog.c and I think I have solved the problems.
