Lord High Admiral of the Seven Seas

Is there any way to rise your reputation..I mean right now I'm a "Horror of the High Seas" but no one in the towns will talk to me. They all yell and scream when I come near. I can't get any missions from Taverns or Shops. The shipwrights won't talk to me...

Whats the best way to rise your reputation with the people??

one way is too go into the jungle at night and save fair maidens and i think you can give money to the church and you might be able to reset your stance bye saying to the priests i wnt to rthink my life or something like that. save before you do these. hope that helps

Ye be need'n tew raise yer reputation mate, store cargo quests an' Tavern ship escort quests,do some side quests,ur ye can go tew church an buy yer reputation :cheers

when ya get a rep like that, be a bloody Pyrate.......
Then they'll know WHATS to FEAR........

or just use a coupple of millions at the nearest church .......

btw..... being a pyrate WILL give a BAD rep........
:cry  :p:

Aye, ye don't need 'em landlubbers,Ye can get all yer supplies an crew on de high seas :cheers :cry

Well I thank ye gents, while being a pirate suits me at times. I would like to talk to someone else except the scum of the Earth. (AKA my crew.) :cheers :cry

Personally I think people should respond to you in shops etc when you're the "Horror of the High Seas", and you should even get discounts because the merchants are so terrified.

What's the point of being the most terrifying man (or woman as the case may be) alive if people just give you the cold shoulder? You should at least be able to slash them through the hearts to teach them better manners.

I think it'd be better if they'd do business as usual but just sound a little more scared. Perhaps a discount due to terror, but they hide their best items (such items are reserved for true heros). :cheeky

Aye Sampow,I'd be lik'n 'at idear of yers, dar be extra beneifits fer Terror of de Seas, free wenches.stay'n at de Taverns overnight fer free, free rum, free ships at de shipyard, hell everything ought tew be free,Har! :cheeky 8)

Free or ye can kick some arse and then it will be free 8) :cheeky

Well at least everyone on Quebradas Costillas should like ye, plunder and pillage rifle and loot, drink up me hardy yo ho!! Aye expected more from a pirate! Arrr!!!!

Don't ferget ta strike yer piratee colours matey.

But if ye got lots of time and money, go rescue the lasses being raped and give money to thee church.

For shipwrights and merchants:
If _they_ are a pirate, they will always trade.
If your rep is above 80 (hero) ditto.
If you are in service with their nation _and_ your rep is above min (10), they will
If their nation is wary neutral towards you and your rep is above 30, they will
Even if you are at war with their nation, if the strength comparison* is OK and your rep is above 60, they will.
Strength comp is:
if the town outnumbers you four to one, then you pass (what do they care).
If you outnumber the town three to one, then you pass (you could sack them--so might as well trade with you).
Otherwise you fail strength comp.
(Note that just passing strength comp isn't enough, as above; you must also have 60 rep or better; or, heck, 80 or better period.)
