class 4 brig w/fullcrew and friends/others captured a fully manned class 1 battleship ,yes that was the name when i captured it , omly 1 slight problem 4 people left after storming decks and she had 2 class 3-4 sister ships that were untouched. couldnt get to my other ship a fully manned and stocked Galleon . So i Died with about a 1/3 of a mile seperating us . she was a bueaty 80 guns ahd 3 full sets of sails .

how do I use the different skills Ie... ship/person .. IE repair ship ?

you get the optional skills IF you have an officer that must have them. (an officer without skills is not giving you the options)
they become available if the situation is right, in the same manner that you can choose ammo type "enter", and then the Arrows to choose.
