newbie question....

...sorry, I've done a search for the answer but I'm unable to get one..
I'm new and very green so please bear with me. Is there another way to `re-supply` ammunition(cannonballs,grape etc) other than taking it from a captured ship?

yeah, that was my first thought, but i've tried repeatedly to do it with no success. I select the item, say grape, and try and change the amount I want to buy but it doesnt change? any thoughts?

Quick question, are you able to buy anything else? Perhaps your ship (the Lugger?) is FULL of something and you need to empty it to add more shot?

The way to tell if your ship is full is the large number you will see underneath any goods you select at a merchant. This is the left picture - you'll see TWO numbers, the top is how much you have, and the bottom is how much room you have left. If there's not enough room (`weight-wise`) you will not be able to add anything else.
