New weapons

have you thought about what made it non-unique in the first place? that usually gives the answer to the problem as well. maybe you could compare the original code with the current one? or think about which mods might have influenced it if the code is the same?
 
What made it non-unique? The weapons quality mod did. I could take that blade out of the weapon's mod, but I want it qualitized AND unique. That should be possible. Somehow.
 
but if it's unique, giving it a quality wouldn't be nessesary. the only use would be that you could make the sword even better, but as it is an unique sword, it would have been designed to be the best, so it can't be improved any futher.

oh. you mean the damaging of it? then there IS a problem.
 
I mean: A sword that can be improved by a blacksmith and decrease in quality over time again. Would be nice to have that enabled even for unique blades.
 
hmm, my dutchman is going well so, if you want to, i can help you make the sword Unique... But i dont want to make Textures :p
 
If there already IS a model for "the sword" (whatever that might be) and there already is a texture, making it unique should be really easy.
 
For now, Bartolomeu o Portugues has a conquistador but if someone wants to give him an unique blade. It would be better <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blah:" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
 
I have a whole bunch more of unique weapons now, mostly longswords, stilleto's, decorated axes. It is on the ftp in my map (but those are only models and textures) if you want them ingame you must do it yourself.

how do you put them in game?Can i copy the same info in items.c pretaining to the swords and axes,of course?

I just needed one sword for my main quest (Blade model 34). However, if someone wants to put in game these weapons that would be fantastic because they are beautiful.
 
I´m wondering, with the weapons mod, how can I avoid that certain weapons are used in random encounters? And can I limit weapons to certain groups of users (e.g. soldiers don´t use the Dragon´s Tongue)?
