new quests

I play POTC build 12.
Is there any new things to do, as treasure hunting, trasure maps, hunting trasure fleet?
(I cant remember there was any of this in the orginal version ether)

Im boored with the same old "follow nathali and the hunt for the black pearl"

Did you already play the two quests that Catalina the Pirate created; "help the boatswain," and "deliver the letter" (I think that's what it is called,) ? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> , <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/no.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="no.gif" /> .

If not then head to Falaise de Fleur and look for Orable Caron! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/keith.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="keith.gif" />

Another modder named Screwface enabled access to Khael Roa, at any point in the game, and added new areas to explore. If you haven't completed the main quest don't go into the last room of the temple or you'll be stuck and have to sidestep your way out of it, but this and a host of new features should engage your interest in playing the game again with either an old save, or a new game.

If you've never played a build before, there are actually a number of new quests (check the Quests Added.txt file in the BuildInfo folder). Well, `semi-new`; they were included in the game but disabled.

There's also a new random mission added for the governors (hunt the pirate).

I know, that gets tedious after a while... I usually start another game when I'm tired of killing off pirates...

But here's a challenge for ya - Get two ships - your flagship should be a BIG one, like a MOW or a #2 warship. Also get a smaller ship like a lugger - something around the #5/6 level. Go to the Gov with your flagship as the BIG ship, and then ask for a mission. He'll give you the mission, and at the time the mission is set, the ship selected for the pirate will be one comparable to your flagship.

Here's the challenge. Switch to the smaller ship before you head out. Now you will have to take on that pirate in the bigger ship - and sink her or board her or whatever...

For an even more difficult challenge, try it with a gunboat! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

OR, you could just start a war against one of the factions and attack their ships wherever you go! There's still gameplay to be had with this game after you've completed all the quests. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

<b>pax, </b>I suggest if you like online pirate games, keep an eye on "Pirates of the Burning Sea" - I saw this demo'ed at E3 and it's an awesome game - will be MMORPG, and looks very cool...

Yeah, France is fun to peeve off. It's easy too, considering you start the game with them being hostile. I just acquired me a Gunboat, Cat. Gonna use my Lineship to get a mission from the Gov and then switch to my GB as flagship. Will let you know how it goes.

I ended up at war with everyone this time (even pirates). I just couldn't resist attacking the bigger ships. Only the English remained neutral, probably because I never attacked them, heheh!
