can anyone make a master & commander style british naval skin pack, like commodore john paul jones's sig uniform?
can petros or one of the other great skinners do it?
the reason im so specific to JPJ's sig is that it is so far the most impressive and well coloured. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

Please have a look at this <a href="http://pieter.piratesahoy.net/chars.htm" target="_blank">page</a>. At the bottom, you can see about all character models not in the Post Build 12 mods. Maybe there is something you are searching for in there. I won't be adding it any time soon though. It's much work and increases the filesize even more.
 
thanks, i wondered why the black nathaniel model wasn't the new stock outfit, personally i think it looks better than the original stock
my current favourite outfit is the evil artois voysey skin, it's unique and it looks very high class.
of all the skins not in the post build mods, the blaze black and Brtadm1_18 british admiral, and Spa_adm_18 spanish admiral skins are the best looking ones, and i hope that in the near future a file would be uploaded onto the site, even if just temporary, with those skins in it added to the post build and tailor shop mod. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbs1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":2up" border="0" alt="thumbs1.gif" />

I think the models starting with RN_ (for Royal Navy) may be just the thing for you <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
 
you mean the ones in the postbuild and build mods?
i've been looking for darker colour uniforms, like the aubrey skin, but just one isn't enough

Thank you for the compliment, Sir! I used a concept art portrait from Age of Empires III and ran it through the Gimp 2.2 to cut it down and fade the edges. I got the seventy-four from artmarine.co.uk Geoff Hunt's art is amazing... Well.. I searched the web also al long time for more proper uniforms. In my game i use the skin's made by JVM a long time ago. I don't know if they are still to be found on the ftp server.

The JMV Skins are certainly a lot more realistic than the ones you can find in the build mod. So i guess that i would be best to get those..
 
sadly, if it was on the main site, its been removed, and even if i could get hold of it, would it unpack itself in proper files or would i have to do it myself, and would i be able to use them with the tailor mod?

Well.. I'm not a very handy person with modding. But the files upack perfectly. I don't have it anywhere on my CPu though. And they are available in the Tailor shop.

I'v egot the files i needed from Pieter Boelen, who was so kind to upload them.. Perhaps Pieter can upload them again? Pete mate!

I have the required files somewhere on my HD. However, these files don't cooperate very with the Post Build 12 mods. They were made compatible with Build 12, but I recall it caused trouble when I tested it myself. I can have a look at it again if you want to.
