Just for fun, here's some random number-crunching on our popularity:

- ModDB "New Horizons" profile stats: http://www.moddb.com/mods/new-horizons/stats
Shows 275 visitors on yesterday alone. In total almost 4000 visitors and 1200 downloads since Feb 13; that equals 56,9 visitors per day.

- ModDB game ranking
It's showing 158 of 9,225 now, but earlier today it was 88 and I have seen it under 20; that means that at that particular time, there were less than 20 more popular mods on the ModDB.
The regular value if no updates are being posted averages between 100 and 250 or so, which still isn't bad considered there's nothing happening.

- Build 14 Alpha 9 download counts from PiratesAhoy!, ModDB and StrategyInformer
PiratesAhoy: 694 on Build 14 Alpha 9 Full and 96 on Light
ModDB: 727 on Build 14 Alpha 9 Full
StrategyInformer: 99 on Build 14 Alpha 9 Full
Total: 1616 downloads since it's release just over one month ago (34 days to be exact)
That equals 47,5 downloads per day

- Game popularity on StrategyInformer: http://www.strategyinformer.com/pc/mods/pi...ibbean/mod.html
Shows "falling" at the moment, but it has been rising for a long time and the graph shows an obvious increase too.

- PiratesAhoy! new and active members:
According to the Admin Control Panel, we have 235 members who registered between 31 December 2008 and now.
We have 486 members who have been active on the forum since that time as well.

There are 789 members who have been active in the past 12 months.
There have been 419 new registrations in the past 12 months.
So there have been 370 active members who registered earlier than one year ago and 419 new ones.
Means that there's 113% more new members in the past year than there is active older members.

However, of all the new registrations there is 237 new members in the past year who actually posted anything.
Of the 419 new members, 322 have made less than 5 posts on the forum.
That means there's 97 new members who did post more than 5 posts.
