New Game and Load Game Buttons Do Nothing

So got everything installed yesterday. Everything seemed to install properly and game booted up fine. Well, when starting a new game after customizing the character sheet itself and pressing start game nothing happens. Menu button clicks and does nothing. Now what is weird about this is a got it to actually start by going into the text field in ship customization and pressing enter through that text field. Now the real problem is there is no way to load the game. When trying to load a save file the buttons will again click and make noise but no loading of the game occurs.

Which version of the game are you playing?

I was having this issue earlier, i play on a 55 inch tv and had to set resolution to 3840/2160 which fixed it for me. try changing resolutions it may help
