I have also noticed some weirdness with the new editor, it seems to like to delete spaces and combine words on me. I have noticed this more in posting news items and in my Pirate News thread, but I have also had it happen when quoting things from other posters on the forum. It's kind of annoying to have to go back through and put those spaces back in to make the posts easily readable.:modding
Is anyone else having this issue? Or is it just my Firefox being screwy again? Also, we seem to have lost a few emoticons. :shrug
 
It's kind of hard to describe, so I figured I would post a visual to give a better idea of what I am experiencing. At first, I thought it might be the program I am using to extend Vista's clipboard, but the problem only occurs after I hit the Preview Post button. Above the red line is what I pasted and edited in the editor, below the read line is what appears after I hit Preview Post. The red lines under the text are from the spell checker I have installed in Firefox, without that, it would be a real pain in the ass to clean up!

Ok, I think I figured it out, it seems to be something with the RTE (Rich Text Editor). I turned that off in my profile settings and so far I have not run into that problem again. Now if I can just figure out how to stop giving free advertising to xs.to, I'll be happy! :modding
 
That's because you can't change your signature, right?
Just post here what you want in your signature and I'll fix it through the Admin Control Panel.
 
Yes, that's why! Thanks Pieter, I appreciate it! Try this, if it doesn't change anything, just leave it blank for now and I will let you know when I get my new sig finished.
