Hi Guys,
I just wanted to make you aware some really cool books coming out. (It pays to have a wife who works at the book store ... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
Though meant for children, I got to take a sneak peek at this book before the street date release. Every page has some interest, including various things tucked into sealed envelopes attached to the pages. For instance, the description of a Letter of Marque, actual slang terms, and nautical instruments pirates used during the time. I think it's a perfect buy for those of you who may have kids (and you wanna keep the pirate genes moving) or even for your collection.
This is an "Ology" series book, done by the people who did Wizardology, and Dragonology. It's kind of a kids book, but the coolest thing about these series, is how they like to draw you in and make the book interactive.

Also ... Do any of you live the Orange County, CA area? Borders Books and Music is trying to schedule a signing with W. I'm not sure of the date yet, but I'll try to get some signed copies and do a give away here on PA!

There are more books coming out, and a few books on modern piracy that came out a couple weeks ago. I'll get those assembled and update these links. We'll get them posted to the main site at first available chance.
