Marrying the Tavern Maid

I rememeber that on Pirates Gold! I could pickup and marry the tavern chick and could go on missions for her merchant father. In this new game I can't seem to be able to do that.

Does anyone know if this feature is available in this game?

Negative - don't believe so. If you're wanting to do that, you gotta marry a gov's daughter.

As far as I can remember, it was only possible in Pirates!Gold to marry the merchantments daugther, not the tavern girl ?

Are you nuts?. The tavern chick is a real shelf warmer. Nothing in the world gets me marrying her or take her out of any tavern.

That´s right, and then you could buy from her father at much lower prices. It was possible to make a barmaid your mistress, she gave you a piece of a map, but I managed to do that only once. You´ve got to have the charming skill or a literal mountain of gold.
