Logging Bugs

Now that I have finally installed Build Alpha 8, and can do some bug checking where are we logging them?

Also, I have found it takes <b>forever </b>get skills up using the automatic skills system. Using Alpha six I played the entire main quest and raised most skills only a point or two. That seems awfully slow to me. Have I missed something?

Also when starting a new game I seem to be only able to trade weapons with the merchant not for medical supplies? What is up with that.
 
Items in build 14A8 are separated out both in your inventory and in the stores. Look at the top of the seller screen/inventory screen and you will notice a series of tabs/buttons. Those are the sections that everything has been divided out into. Took me off guard the first time I played too. Was looking all over hell trying to find out where I was supposed to buy my new spyglass. **grins**

As for the speed at which you gain points, if the points are still maxed out at 10, I can see each step taking awhile to gain, since you don't want players to poiwer-game to max skill levels in everything in one night.

Some more bugs:
- Midnight crash with full cargo hold
- No ticks in F2>Character menu for the quick-increasing character-type skills
- Skill modifying items no longer work
 
Additional Bugs:

There is no trader in Havana

A merchant offered me over 1,000, 000 for an escort

Musket and Musketoon in the trader's item have pics of clock and compass

Blades in Alpha 8 are much less expensive than before

You can't trade goods in Point a Perte only personal items

Question: What happend to Nathaniel's flag, in earlier version we had Jack's flag and one with two hawks on it. Now we have white with a red strip?

Question: What is with the bells sounding when you are in first person?

Question: Since when do the number of guns display w/the compass?

Question: Compass seems very large, can it be made smaller? Is that in internal settings?
 
I found a quite annoying bug myself too, in alpha 8: when i start a new game, while walking around the Oxbay (as it used to be called), and I open the advanced options menu (even without changing something) I don't seem to be able to leave that location. Standing near the gate/rowboat does not trigger the option to open/enter it. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> Also, if I speak to anyone then, my character's face and health bar stay on top of the conversation.

Not meant as a negative comment to your work, just trying to be a bit constructive here <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

EDIT: I just found out that i can never move on after clearing the first deck after I boarded an enemy ship. My face icon keeps flashing like when I'm in danger and my crew won't sheath their swords.

Second edit: After moving around a bit on that deck, I think there might be invisible enemies who seem to be unable to move. Every time I came near the mast, someone I couldn't see was appearantly slicing me into pieces!

Editing spree: Also, I don't seem to be able to distribute my skill points, however I've chosen to choose them myself

I can confirm that one, in any place : also, all icons (fast travel, talk, open, drop, take, etc...) appears even if they don't trigger anything. And you're stuck.
 
More Bugs

Street Vendors in Charlestown have no money.

The trade book has Puerto Rico as an English colony and says there is no shop. When you go to Puerto Rico. it is Spanish, there is a shop, and the shopkeeper has 31, 778, 613 in gold you open up the cargo screen. When you try to trade loot he has 0 in gold.
