I was trying the 11.99 and I noticed that we still are overflowed by our dead opponent stock...

Maybe, to help Hawk with the stock when he board 4 MOW and have too many items, we can give him a virtual chess, where all the items go when he fight. So, he can check the chess to see if there is anything good in it, or simply send it to the store when he moor to have the money sent back to him in only 2 or 3 clicks...

IS it possible, too hard to do... need a complete enw game? Hehe...

I know we don't have time to put in in that build but... anyway, it's only a idea!

I just turn off the weapons mod, that gets rid of all the extra stock... You might still get a lot of swords but there will be less variety so it won't seem like you're drowning in a sea of rusty blades. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/duel_pa.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ixi" border="0" alt="duel_pa.gif" />
 
When I get time I hope to be able to modify my little "Sell All Weapons" mod so that it is more selectable what weapons you sell.
The last time I tried to change it there were some problems with the Sell All button not working.

This mod should still be on the Pirates Ahoy FTP area and should be compatible with Build 11.99

I'll dig out the modified file this weekend and see if I can get a working switch on it so that it can be enabled and disabled in Buildsettings.h
I think that I know how to get that working and hopefully won't take anything more then an hour or two.

This mod is now almost working, for some reason you have to press the Sell All button to sell everything and I haven't got a clue as to why <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

But as this is an extension on `Stone-D`'s SellAllLoot mod I can't release it until I can:
1.Ask `Stone-D` for permission to add/extend/modify his mod and I am having problems finding an email address.
2. Work out why the hell multiple button presses are needed to sell stuff. This might entail a rewrite of `Stone-D`'s code.


I think that we can discount this being included in Build12.
If/when I get permission then I'll make it a standalone mod that can be added to Build12.

Whilst I await a response I'll see if I can work out a way around the problem that I have got with multiple presses of the "Sell All Loot" button to sell all fo the loot.

I like this idea of selling surplus blades by pressing a key, but I would prefer to keep a few high quality baldes. I know you said you will try to do that, and I appreciate it.

In the meantime, I am doing what Skull does and picking and choosing baldes from the chest that works farily well

I've added two switches in BuildSettings so you can chose what level of weapons you want to sell. So it is possilbe to set it to sell only the Badly Worn and Worn blades and yet keep the Average and better weapons.

The other switch is for the normal loot.
On the lowest setting it only sells the useless junk like that god awful animal figure. The highest setting sells every piece of loot except the crystal skulls and items that give you a stat boost. This setting also sells the small healing potion as when you get to a high level they aren't very useful. The second highest setting is the same except the healing potions aren't sold.
 
Until I get permission from `Stone-D` then I can't release it.

I will release it as a separate download that should be compatible with most recent versions of the Build from about version 10 onwards, as long as you've got a BuildSettings.h file with you Build then you will be able to use this mod.

If I can't get permission then I'll have to write this from scratch with completely new code instead of using `Stone-D`'s original code and that will take me a long time possibly months of work as I'm not a codemonkey.
 
I understand all the mood going over copyrights but.... do you really tink that `Stone-D` will refuse you if you mention his great job for the first part of the mod? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
 
He probably won't mind, as he has, according to his website, lost interest in modding for PotC anymore. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> But it's good to ASK...

I should probably make some kind of provision in my contributions in modding to PotC - that I don't mind if anyone mods what I did, just so long as I still have credit for the original idea.

In other words, if you want to make a quest starring Fred Bob, or Armand, OR Estrella - it's okay! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
