If somebody were to upload the man and woman animation files for CoAS to the FTP,....'only four files' , then I might be able to convert them <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

It's not hard you guys that have CoAS.

Just post the animation files as an attachment and you will be closer to getting PotC characters
 
I still don't get why you wouldn't be able to just use PotC characters with PotC animations in CoAS.
It works the other way around too. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />
 
the fencing animation is different & sidestep does'nt exist if we use PoTC animation.
 
True; but it'd <i>work</i>, right? As in "you can run around and play without the game crashing".
 
Indeed true, but it'd be better to do the job properly.

It' alot harder without the animation files <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whippa.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":whipa" border="0" alt="whippa.gif" />

I've made a small animation that works in TOOL...all I need to know now is if that model will swap to the proper animation.
If it does were good to go for using that set up for converting.

Attached file is just man.an, man.ani, woman.an and woman.ani from SuperDurnius' file.
The whole folder looks rather confusing though, since there's also a man2 and woman2 file,
as well as armor, genres, mushketer, towngirl and towngirl2. Beats me what all that's for.

I'm wondering if some of those aren't by any chance for PotC-style characters.
I'm pretty sure I've seen CoAS screenshots showing characters that definitely were based on PotC ones.

Thanks Pieter...managed to download the files.Good news is that we can start giving PoTC characters CoAS animation.Going to do Jack Sparrow first.
Someone will have to test it for me though coz I have'nt got CoAS yet....yep 'still waiting' <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_twisted.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":twisted:" border="0" alt="icon_twisted.gif" />

Pah; I don't care about giving PotC characters CoAS animation anyway.

I'm not realy all that bothered about waiting for CoAS....probably be too old to play it by the time I get it.
