After the last movie, I almost completely disowned the Indiana Jones franchise ...but this is LEGO! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

Company: LucasArts Entertainment
Date: 01 Jun 2009
LONDON, UK – 29th May, 2009 – LucasArts and TT Games today announced that LEGO® Indiana Jones™ 2: The Adventure Continues will whip onto Wii™, Nintendo DS™, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system, Xbox 360®video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows in the Fall of 2009. Developed by the same team at Traveller’s Tales that created the award-winning LEGO® Indiana Jones™: The Original Adventures and the LEGO® Star Wars™ series, LEGO Indiana Jones 2 presents a tongue-in-cheek take on all four cinematic adventures of pop culture’s most iconic archaeologist, including for the first time ever Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and will give players the ability to create levels of their own!

“LucasArts and TT Games continue to set the bar for next-generation family entertainment with the LEGO Indiana Jones franchise,” said Darrell Rodriguez, president of LucasArts. “LEGO Indiana Jones 2 delivers something a little different for everyone. Parents will enjoy the humorous take on the classic moments from their favorite movies, and their kids have an opportunity to experience the most authentic LEGO experience by building their own fun levels brick by brick.”

“It has been a real joy to work with LucasArts on such an iconic character. Indiana Jones embodies the adventurous spirit that perfectly suits the LEGO world,” said Tom Stone, director at TT Games. “Indy also presents us with wonderful and memorable cinematic moments.”

This would be great, if only they didn't ignore the PC. Again. I HATE it when they do that.
They did that for LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga too.
I suppose I should consider myself lucky that the first LEGO Indiana Jones game was released for PC at all! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whippa.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":whipa" border="0" alt="whippa.gif" />

But they DO mention PC. Listed as Microsoft Windows version due out in fall of 2009.

Yes? Uhhh.... "entertainment system from Windows". Are they SURE that's an ordinary PC? It sounds weird. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

It just looks funny because they didn't do a very good job of separating things between the statement about Xbox 360 and Windows.

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/boom.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":boom" border="0" alt="boom.gif" /> I got Lego Indiana Jones and.. the bloody thing crashes just a few seconds after that map thingy (loading screen?) comes. Game starts just fine but when I try to start a new game it basically crashes to desktop. I remember Lego Star Wars having some problems but THIS! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/boom.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":boom" border="0" alt="boom.gif" /> Looks like LEGO company is doing shitty job with making games they make working properly on systems. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" /> I'm downright pissed when I couldn't play a game just because it crashes. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/boom.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":boom" border="0" alt="boom.gif" />

System requirements problem? DirectX version? Too high settings? The game works for me. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

I tried to set the graphics down and it lasted to the video and then still crashed. By the way I found out that when setting the Multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration in Nvidia control panel to "Single GPU multiple display performance mode" then that video lasts a bit longer but still the crashing part happens. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whippa.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":whipa" border="0" alt="whippa.gif" />

Yeppy!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bounce.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":b:" border="0" alt="bounce.gif" /> I had to reinstall it into it's default location. Now the game works. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

Congratulations. Now brick away! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/razz.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":razz" border="0" alt="razz.gif" />

<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Well.. apart from that you-must-install-it-into-program-files-folder thing. Lego Indiana Jones is pretty good. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

'scuse me.. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> Lego Indiana Jones is NOT pretty good.. Lego Indiana Jones is TERRIFIC FUN! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

HAHA! It is, actually. I should get to play it again. I still haven't finished the last level.
And then there is the replaying it to get everything to 100%, find all treasure and unlock the hidden levels!

I allready have four complete artifacts.. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> They look bricktastic. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> Haven't yet bothered much with the story but seeing those fellas in cutscenes is.. well, something you feel when watching those stop-motion movies from Brickfilms.com. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

Also I'm getting a gamepad thingy just for that game because those keyboard arrows are starting to get on my nerves and besides I'd like to run AND walk at any direction in that game. Joystick I couldn't get to work in that game and besides if I had got it working it would be awkward playing such simple game with a joystick. If that gamepad has a joystick like thing on it (well it must have it if they keep telling it's much better controller for LIJ), well.. I'd really need that for this game. And if that controller has that joystick thing and is good.. I might even try it on other games. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" /> Like GTA IV. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

Nice.. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

I think we need to split threads. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
