Hello everyone, I've been looking foward to this game for a while now. However theres been a few things i've been wanting to know. I think some of you have been bata testers on the game so i was woundering if you could answer a couple of questions for me. (if you ever followed Fable and found out much that was said to be in the game, infact wasnt, you'll understand why i'm asking)

I was woundering how free roaming the game really is? Pirates of the Caribbean was suppose to be, however the land aspect of the game was not. If i'm going to be a pirates, then i wanna go where i please! Also is there very much NPC interaction, besides going to find missions, and to the bar and governor, do you?

Welcome to PA!, Kitten_killer (I just wonder how you got your name... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> ).

Anyway...
In the game, you can do whatever you please. There are few restrictions.
You will find out when you play it, and know exactly what I mean.

Have an ale! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/beer2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":beer" border="0" alt="beer2.gif" />

Yep, like Civ says, you will be able to run with your men all over the islands (seeking buried treasure and lost cities and your lost family), even have land battles, and sail where you wish. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

there is not much in the way of interaction with NPCs. The only ones you can regularly interact with are the governor, the merchant, the shipwright, the barkeep and the like. And interaction is not really "interaction" per se. More like you see the shipwright to get your ship fixed and the merchant to sell your wares... they don't really "talk" to you or anything.

But it is VERY open ended. If you want to build up a fleet and sack Panama, knock yourself out. Or if you want to run around looking for your long lost family, have at it. Or if you want to make milk runs back and forth between St Kitts and Martinique to buy low and sell high, you can (I was quite suprised as to how much money I made doing that! Small crew too - alas, but the lure of an Lost Inca City was too great!).

I can't wait!
