Increasing size/duration of splash

Hey. So I've been getting into this game but I noticed that the splashes when the cannonball strikes the water are rather small. Is there anyway to change the size of them or and make them last a bit longer rather than like I just threw a pebble into a lake? Could the values be changed, such as having a lot more smaller splashes for grapeshot but larger, taller splashes for roundshot?

I've just looked and i can't find anything that controls the hight for the splash made from cannon fire, hopefully someone who klnows or has an idea of which file(s) to look in will post soon.
