I have been away for some time but im back now. I have made a new ship, a Dutch AOP lineship with a part of the flying dutchman stern.
there is onley one problem, if i sail around a island you dont see the flag at the back of the ship. does anybody know how to fix that? if im on the open see the flag is on his place.

there was also one stupit thing, i wanted to help 3 small dutch ships but the enemy was a little bit too strong, 4 manowars and 4 battleships or something. but they were fleeing! 8 nr.1 ships against me and a caravel, and they flee! whys that?

looks wierdly good, but why the rediculously boxy bow? that's just plain hideous. the stern looks great, but that bow really could use some finer lines. now it's just a box stuck on top.
 
that was already on the AOP lineship, and eh... what do you mean with boxy? the screens are really bad quality. i will make some more screens(of the stern) as soon as i can.
 
i know it's the AOP part of the ship. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> but those ships just look really bad. the forecastle is completely square. no attempt to make it fit in with the rest of the ship whatsoever.
 
AOP ships suck bad. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" /> No matter what skin they have they still look butt ugly.
 
<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> I know the masts and sail are ugly of the AOP ships, i dont like them myself too, but these ships have a part of the mast on the deck. so if i add PotC masts you keep seeing that, the potc mast are thiner <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> ...
here is another screenshot of the stern, you can see it has no flag on the back because im at a island.... i dont know how to fix that(on the other pic you can see the flag):

Uh.. buh.. hey Thomas!! I only meant to say that these AOP ship MODELS are ugly. Patrick's skin for that ship is really nice but the model he made the skin on isn't nice. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />
 
But that means that the ship isn't nice <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

i think this is the best AOP moddel there is, it onley needs other masts and sails. maybe i can put the stern on a other ship, maybe thats better <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> ?? there is one thing stupid about this ship, if you go to first person mode at sea you cant look over the guard-rail...
i want to do a lot more as soon as my internet is repaired on my other computer. if there is something you want to be reskinned just say it, i have seas of time <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
 
Well, you could try reskin a Warship (that ship is similar to that AOP ship here) or a Frigate in PotC. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
 
i already tried a battleship but that doesnt look good and i dont like the Warships but i will try and see how it looks.

we have much dutch, english and a some france colored ships, did spain or portugal had a collor for their navy?
 
Nice job! More Dutch ships are always welcome! I recall this ship was originally blue with a French fleur-de-lis on it; I think you should make sure that's NOT on the Dutch version. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

I don't really know about those flags; for some reason I don't have flags anymore on my Lineships. Why? NO idea! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />
 
i think we're more in need of ships belonging to the other nations. we're only getting dutch ships lately.
