How to achive 10/10 romance and can I remarry and have lots of wives? I married a rather plain wife, and my romance is stucked at 8/10. Can I remarry a beautiful wife and change it to 10/10?

I'm not <b>sure</b> but I don't think it's possible to get a second wife.
Try to court a beautiful lady with everything you have maybe you can get the extra two points.

Hehe! good one hafensänger! Well, iot looks like that you succeed only if you marry a pretty daughter. But after trying so many times to make a good dancer and always failing, I gave it up. I am not dexterous enough to impress the daughters <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> Dancing is a hard way! I am a classical buccaner, shooting and slaying everything. Well, I will try again, but dancing way too difficult (for me).

I think you can actually score another romance point after you marry, by wooing the other ladies and giving them gifts. It seems like that is what I did... but to be honest I was not paying too much attention. I just continued to charm them for the info.

Darn, it seems that you can only stick with your first wife forever! I try courting others but you can never marry them!!! I try to "kill" the first wife by sacking her city (around 5 times consecutively), but it seems that I can never install a new government even if the town's army is only 20 men and mine 300 men! What is this??? Grrr...

I don't know this to be true... in fact, I'm pretty sure that's not the case. I have little hearts ALL over the place and I am still sacking at will, and installing new governors where the right conditions are met.

Well, in the normal german version something curios happens:

- i´ve married a unimposing governor´s daughter in Port Royale, get 8/10 points.

- Then some time later I danced with the attracktive governor´s daughter in Petit Goave. After 2 or 3 times I do this, she asks me I have an necklace (one of the two gifts) .By my next visit at the governor she asks to fight against her fiance. After 2 - 3 visits she were captured by an evil pirate. After rescued her she give me another information, that´s all. BUT, in the `User-Status` (where you see your `victory-points`, etc.) I´ve got now 9/10 points and can look to the video of the marriage with the girl in `Petit-Goave`.

But, if I retired from game I´ve only get 8/10 points..

Seems like very curios...
