How do I add content to the official build?

Hi all,

I've made some basic changes to my <i>Enc_Officer_dialog.c</i> file to allow asking your officers to change their role title, so now I can get my doctor with 10 sailing to change to a Navigator.

What's the procedure if I want to donate this to the main build?

Oh, also, I can put in English dialog into the English Enc_Officer_dialog.h, but don't know any russian for the russian version, any ideas who could fix that bit?

NICE! We've been talking about making this possible, so it's cool that you actually did it. At the moment it doesn't really make any difference what officer type the character has, so a doctor with 10 sailing would be called a doctor, but <i>function</i> as a navigator. Which is just plain weird. So something would still need to be done about this. I had the following idea on this: Make it so that each officer type only contributes the skills that apply to his own officer type. So a carpenter with 10 sailing and 10 repair will not increase the sailing efficiency of the ship. But if you would change his officer type to navigator, he will increase the sailing efficiency, but not the repair anymore. But this has not been modded in yet.

Simply make sure the file reaches me somehow and I'll put it into the Post Build 13 WIP pack that I have. New mods will not be added to Build 13, but once Build 13 is done, we will put new mods into the Post Build 13 modpack, which will eventually be Build 14. You can send the file to me by e-mail, you can put it on the FTP, you can upload it on some webspace of your own, there are plenty of options. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Edit: When I will be gone for 150 days this February, somebody else will need to take over my job, so you should then get the files to that "somebody else" instead of to me. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />
