Help me find Henry Morgan's Treasure

mjbisme

Landlubber
Here's my story, I have the whole map, the treasure is suppose to be `south-east` of Villa Hermosa, there is no red "X" on the map to mark the treasure's location. I have started on one end of the map and walked to the other end go down a little bit and walked back and then repeated that process until I have walked the whole map at least twice. I have even walked beyond the map. I have found all the land marks on the map. All this and still no treasure. Is the map wrong, is it not marked like the 1st 7 treasures I have found. Please help me, someone.............

Heard of some more people complaining about not finding trasures... is it possible that they get found by other pirates and thus dissapear from their places?

I don't think so, I've found all the buried treasure. Sometimes they are ridiculously easy to find (ie. you jump off the ship and its right there), and sometimes very hard (you have to walk halfway to california to find it). Sometimes I return to ship, circle around a bit to look for another landmark or approach from another angle and it works.

In my second (and last) career I couldn't find the Lost City, because the landmarks wasn't the same on land as on the map. I've spend several hours looking everywhere near the landmark seen from the ship.
So I think that it sometimes bugs out.

I agree it's bug. I can find all treasures, relatives for the first time I play. However, then I played 1600 start from journeyman (fencing skill), I can find my grandfather. Problem is the map ask me to look at `south-east` of Villa Hermosa, with cuttlass cape landmark. I've search all the way from Campeche all the way to Purto Cabello, but can find that landmark.

Also when I look for Inca City, there are two landmarks with same name at the south east of Villa Hermosa. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" />

You need to have it uploaded on the net to be able to link up to it.

Now I got something like that as well... Have to search for my granpa `north-east` of `Petit-Groave`, south to a landmark that I cannot find.

Also at some point I was searching for a lost city and the map said `north-east` of `Villa-Hermosa`, but the treasure was in the south east of `Villa-Hermosa`.

Prety convinced it's not exactly a feature.

here's the map
