GTA: San Andreas

maybe u cant compare this 2 games. red dead revolver is an actionshooter. if im not wrong only for ps2 and xbox. but i think the atmosphere is awesome and theres much interesting stuff in the game. and there are no other good wild west games available so far. here u can find some info and player reviews. <a href="http://reviews.teamxbox.com/reader/xbox/846/Red-Dead-Revolver/" target="_blank">http://reviews.teamxbox.com/reader/xbox/84...-Dead-Revolver/</a>
 
Haven't played GTA San Andreas, but I found Red Dead Revolver to be a lot of fun. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/guns.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":2guns" border="0" alt="guns.gif" />

It might be a better rental than one to own, even though it's pretty cheap now, however, I still get a lot of replay out of it just by doing the shootout games in the various game locations. I also enjoy the bounty hunter option where you play various portions of the game and try to accomplish specific objectives.

The "Spaghetti-Western" format of the game is very much appreciated by people like me who enjoy moves like, <i>A Fistful of Dollars</i> and <i>The Good, Bad, and the Ugly</i>.

It's too bad that the game isn't out in PC format, whenever I play the game on the XBox I think what the modders around here could do to POTC with some of the coding features in Red Dead Revolver.
 
yeah maybe u should rent it to look at. but a friend and i played over a week to get trough. and we played very much this week <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />. so hire it for one day and decide. buying it will cost u about 15 euro (dont know where u re from)

i ll give 9/10 pts. its one of my favourite games on the xbox. and until now i dont have played a 10/10 game <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

The only downside I can think of is regarding replay in that it might get old for some people after awhile, but it's always fun to play the shootouts, even against 3 opponents!
 
I think that san andreas is an AWESOME game, but if you want a GOOD Third person shooter for xbox, wait for the 360 to get GUN. Its much better than Red Dead, although red wasn't bad.
 
If you wan't a good game, try "Total overdose" .. I think its made for PS2 also .. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />
