Got two problems

1. I have Moltabans map to his secret hideout, but there are more landmarks on the land then there are on the map. And when I look where it should be there's nothing.

2. How do you get the pieces of the Inca maps. Do you have to go through the whole romancing thing a lot, or is there an easier way?

Please help.

Now this must be a bloody first... Never in me entire life have I heard such complaining about having to romance a bevy of 36DD lovelies to get a bit of information. Even the plain ones have a bit of valuable information, should one have the patience and wherewithall to get at it. Tap your feet, learn the keypad, and watch her HANDS (yes, I know that can be difficult), and you might find yourself enriched beyond your dreams, savvy? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

Harrr! ye lads 'ave no patience <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" /> even Ol' Skull stupurd wid rum tripp'n over me 22 toes can win one 'ary now an then and get de wenches goodies <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

1. Do not give up, so far I have seen ZERO instances where the map was bugged. I have had many people `e-mail` me thier map when they could not find the correct spot. In every instance it just took patience and a little sense of direction. I have successfully found every one of them, I am sure you will find the correct spot also. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

2. I believe that after you are married, every dance with your wife will get you a fragment to a map, providing there are unfound cities of course.

I'd be think'n ye need te rescue her from a kidnapper first,than she gives ye pieces O' maps after that <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

But Skull, I thought rescuing her is what makes her marry you.... and if you are already married....

Aye,thats right GI Joe,maybe ye need te dance wid 'er a few times an how well ye dance .than she gives ye pieces O' maps <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

How about this, Dance with your wife well enough to impress her. Maybe the kiss the hand or the Embrace...

I solved the two problems, but now I have another. My map to the Inca temple has no ocean on it. I can't find anything on the land that matches the map. It says to look southwest of Ville Hermose. Other than just look around, are there any suggestions?

I refer to my post above which is this;

1. Do not give up, .... I have had many people `e-mail` me thier map when they could not find the correct spot. <span style='color:darkred'><b>In every instance, it just took patience and a little sense of direction.</b></span> I have successfully found every one of them, I am sure you will find the correct spot also. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/diomed.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dio" border="0" alt="diomed.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

Nope, I've spent 4 crews and years of food trying to find my last temple (Mayan) in one of my many games. I've played the game all the way through at least 25 times and it hadn't happened, but yes, on the last game I finished not more than 15 minutes ago, I found an area that matched the map up to a point, after that even the landmarks that were shown on the map were not on the land. As I said I searched for a LLLLLOOOONNNNNGGGG time and...ptttt...nothing, nada, zilch, zip! So yes, there is a bug in the game, two as a matter of fact. The other is what got me to read this thread in the first place. I have gotten a map for Montalban in several different games that do not have his hideout X'd. I went to where the map showed it to supposedly be, and again did a search for 3 hours Earth time, and...pttt...nothing, nada, zilch, zip! I combed the area using the compass, starting at a landmark and going from sea to shining sea and sea to end of map, N to S, E to W. What was supposed to be there was not there in either case. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

Atreyuu2003 - I offer you a challenge, send me a save game and I will see if its bugged. If I can find the lost city, then, not bugged. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> In which case you owe me a gallon of milk. If I cannot find it, I owe you a dozen cookies, deal?

It'd be good thing yer not bett'n doubloons matey,otherwise GIJoe would be rich <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

Sorry, I don't know how to `e-mail` saved games and learning would hurt my brain. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> And Atreyuu2003, The hideout looks like a town. I couldn't find it till a friend who had never even seen the game pointed to it.

Yeah, I don't know how to `e-mail` saved games either, otherwise, I'd love to, 'cuz Guaranteed It Ain't Thar Matey! I am a geographer in real life, and my business is maps, and maps, and maps, if I can't find it no one can. Thanks for the tip Captain Burly, but I know what they look like, I've found them and conquered Mr. Montalban numerous times, it's just that when I get the map without the X for his hideout, the hideout isn't there in the map area anywhere. Until next time, Ahoy!

<img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> I am a gamer in real life, never made a map, nor do I intend to. I did once get a very small one in a box of CrackerJacks. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Now, my good friend, surely after a statement such as you typed above you cannot deny me the opportunity to fail, utterly and completely. Sigh…

Alas, no one is going to `e-mail` a save game.  For future reference if anyone else feels the need to, it is as easy as this:

1. Start Pirates, open your save a game where the map problem is.

2. As soon as you are in the game, save it to any open save slot. Now you have 2 save games that are exactly alike. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

3. Quit the game, open your `e-mail` program of choice, address to me at the addy above, click on attach or browse, depending on your program.

4. SMP save games are located on My Documents>My Games. Just remember the save game slot you saved it as. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Simply attach the save game to your `e-mail` and press send.
