Just put the Liza's face texture on the 50_Becka model won't be enough satisfactory (I think <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_confused.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="icon_confused.gif" /> ). With the TOOL, I created the mixed character : Liza50_Becka, but It isn´t also satisfactory. Anyway, in the meantime we can use it as a temporary work. In fact, we need that someone makes a new one. Only, Kazeite could do that. He made, for instance, Mr Gibbs right ?

Elizabeth texture is on it's way, been doing it for past three days, on & off. It's hard trying to work round the face shape difference , but I've almost got it right now.

I'v also been trying to make the model a bit better using Maya but had to give it up before I shot my computer, or myself.
Kazeite where are you ? Your needed.

Looks like we'll have to make do with just texture jobs for the time being then , unless we try to get more advice from the Russian team. I can get a model out of Maya but it is always without the texture, it's damned infuriating.

Anyway this is well on it's way now , should be done for the weekend

That's some nice reskin. Good work!

Now, let's talk about some realistic colors <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> The problem with red coat like those gypsy captain wears is that it's not going to have such briight, vibrant color. First of all, there's no dye in 1700's that can produce such color, and even if there was one, it would quickly fade back.
<i>Pirates of the Burning Seas</i> page actually has a nice tutorial about flag makiing, and it has a section about selection of <a href="http://potbs.coldfront.net/index.php/content/view/306/69/" target="_blank">proper colors</a>.

(and while you're at it, could you change at least the shade of his undercoat? Because as of right now, it kinda blends with his coat...)
 
This model is an improved version of the skin of the original Gypsycaptain; the colour seems to have remained the same since the original version. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

I already installed this one a few days ago. So, no news about SuperDurnius ?

Sorry for long inactivity... About 2 weeks ago my motherboard jus exploded, so Jipsy captain is stuck in my hard disc... (((I sometimes logon from my sckools library))), I already ordered new one and I gues it should be in my hands april 25-28, Then I'll upload those files in ftp...

BTW:, all file complete... Portraits, heads, armors...

BTW2: When I'll release gipsy, I'll start work with my idea of "Dark one" quest...
