Get the Soldiers to come back...

After I beat the game, and I went back to Redmond, became a Captain in the Royal Navy. And well my question is, is there anyway to get the soldiers to return to Greenford...The town just doesn't feel the same without them.

Perhaps NK or someone could fix that for a build update....

I wonder if it isn't something in quests_reaction.c that could be an easy fix, just adding a line (or a comma, HA!)... ???

Hard to say. If I find half a moment I'll take a peek in the code to see if I can puzzle it out...

My soldiers in Greenford never regenerated either, Cat and Kevo44, in any of the games that I have played.

At one point, I thought it might be that maybe because I never killed the two soldiers posted outside the town gate, heading to the jungle, so I shot them to see if that would make the whole garrison regenerate, but no go. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/no.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="no.gif" />

I think the problem may be that they were assigned to a group for a quest, and then never `re-assigned` - so when you kill them all off, they die and never regenerate...

Keep your saved game from just after you kill them all off, and I'll see if I can figure it out. If I do (and if I'm right, LOL!), it should just be a matter of reinitializing after I've made the fix and they should come back.
