dunno if anyone's aware of this but a STRANGE thing happened to me today.
I had to divide up the plunder which you have to do occaisionally. Before doing so, i did what you always do, i went to the merchant and sold off all my goods, and then to the shipwright to sell off all my war galleons. Interesting thing is that when i was left with one indian canoe and two war galleons, when i tried to sell off the last two war galleons, it warned me that if i did so, i would lose X number of men. Curious, i said yes {after saving where i was just in case} and lo and behold, it got rid of the men, gave me the cash for the two sold ships, but keeping the indiian canoe as my only ship before dividing up the plunder i had almost no men left, and all the loot was divided between the very small crew that was left. Sort of a less sadistic way of getting rid of the crew unlike how we used to do it by killing them all off in battle. hope this helps someone out there
