a new rig which will take some time until I get it. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /><!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
hint

play before adding {serious} mods

that way the mods extend the play value

Good grief.. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" /> Fallout 1&2 suck at combat system (to me at least). I'm not really fond of turn-based combat stuff. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> From what I have seen and read about Fallout 3.. I'd say Fallout 3 is way better than the older Fallout's (expect the world size and story of older Fallout's). 3D world, real-time combat, operatable consoles, cool armors, lots of places to go, talkable npc's, quests, side-quests.. oh my! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />
And above all: It's a sci-fi rpg and it sounds ten times better than Half-Life 2 or any other regular shooter game. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

EDIT

One thing they could have done about Fallout 3 is making it's world MUCH bigger.. Like adding large wastes and scraped together cars for you to use. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> But no.. they allways mess up something and throw a different thing together. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> I still want to play Fallout 3 but it's just dissapointing that the game doesn't have a larger world. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> But who knows maybe they make a expansion for Fallout 3 or someone makes a large modification? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Which adds wastelands (they should be larger than cities) and villages and other vaults.. and useable scraped together cars/jeeps (USEABLE AIRCRAFTS/VERTIBIRDS TOO! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />) to travel faster. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

I'm not really fond of small game worlds.. I've had enough of that with Gothic I&II. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> I saw some people complaining that Oblivion is just too big.. (and I think Oblivion could have had even bigger world <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />) I say that they don't know jack shit how big a land in a rpg game should be! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Well, you can spend three hours straight walking in Two Worlds, and you'll get nowhere near halfway across the map. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

What!? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

actually, sometimes, a world CAN be too big. i remember having problems in Aveyond 1 because it was. you got lost the whole friggin' time! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> stupid 2D worlds... then again, most of the maps had lots of caves, tunnels and passageways, so it wasn't too surprising that you kept getting lost.

I suck at getting-lost. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Riding a horse, undead horse, lizard, or other strange beasty will actually take you longer to get across the map. Every mount has a mind of its own - if it doesn't want to go where you tell it, it won't. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

There's also pirates in the game. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

New thread and pictures, Stallion? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

No pictures - computer no workee no more. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Game can no be played. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
