Solved Eras 2 vs Gof 2 full realese - items

Have a question sinc I have gone back from Eras 2 to Gof 2. Is it possible to port all the item in Eras 2 into Gof 2, with all their valuables. Since Eras is so very buggy.

Yes with some difficulty.
You will need to pay attention to item counts in items.h and placement in the inititems.c resource files.
New game would recommended because reinit with mistakes will cause errors or at minimum things just not showing up where they are supposed to.
There are more things that also would need to be modified such as item texture sheets, and itemsdescribe.txt and several other verifications as well for world generation.
Its quite a bit of work here.

However, it is not that difficult if you understand the basic file coding.

I already brought back many of the things omitted, that were in GOF such as cuirasses, some swords, pistols, and clothing.
MK had the item count high enough that I actually could add things without have to replace one thing with another.
