Has anyone noticed that when you fight the ships that attack on escort missions , the Dutch ones carry ridiculously high amounts of gold compared to other nations or pirates .

Had not really noticed that, but maybe thats why they are called "the greedy Dutch". Nope , once it was escorting a Dutch pinnace to Elthurra with sugar cane the Dutch brigs had 22,000+ and 25000+ , another time it was a French sloop with a governor to Totruga and it was 21000+ and 29000+ .
The thing is there are hardly any Dutch settlements and they are constantly at war , so I assume that that they are getting very rich pickings from all the other nations ships .
I did think it was funny though to get attacked by the Dutch while escorting a Dutch ship , they must have really wanted to hold on to those plants <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
