Dogs Of The Seas

Just wondering if any of you play the browser based game Dogs of the Seas.I do and have been for close to a year and while it may not be the end all pirate game it's still fun and doesn't take too much time nor commitment.No i'm not pimping the game nor trying to get anyone to join,just wondering if i've seen anyone in that game that was a member of this forum and didn't know.Anywho i'm fry(duh!) in DOTS and atm in TRB(The Royal Buccaneers).Ya I know i'm a member of one of the more disliked guilds but meh,the last one I was in was disbanded and they recruited a few of my old guildmates who in turn told me to join up if I wanted.Anywho I just thought it might be neat to see if any of you played. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />

Yeah, I tried it for a brief moment, the server being in Germany didnt make the experience very worthwhile though for me as everything loaded really slow.

I tried to play it ,but I guess my connection's to slow .On a good day I get 32kbs connection .I managed to sign up ,but when I tried to play it wouldn't load up.

Ya i'm in the US so it gets slow for me sometimes too,mostly when theres either alot of people on or thier working with the game or server.Plus with it being a java/flash browser based game that is truly multiplayer(alot claim multiplayer but aren't) it's bound to slow sometimes.Did either of you install the graphics pack?Also once you play awhile enough of the different animations and loadings will get into your cache and speed things up a bit.Anywho it was just a shot in the dark.Personally I like it as it is multiplayer,free(you can buy pearls,wich are traded for ingame items,mostly uniques and highly valuable/hard to find items but you can also get them ingame a few different ways).Also depending when yall were trying to signup/play,there was if i'm not mistaken one or two cheaters who got banned and who's obvious child like response was to attack/fleed the severs and site so theres been a few times that was a cause of slow down but I think got most of that dealt with.Anywho theres a few other "free" browser based pirate games i've ran across but this one was the only one that kept my interest on enough occasions to keep me playing.Sorry it was a bad experience for yall,im gonna browse this section and see what else you guys play that may interest me.
