Do you think it's too easy to master this game?

Without mods, you just needed to hunt forts and you could be lvl15 to be unstoppable and you lost your gamefun extrem fast. Now everything is widened with Alpha 9 updates and does almost completely change the game. Though do you think it's still easy to beat? Or do you really need to play well to be on the top with a beauty such as the Lineship?

I played this game for a long time and I know how this game works though is it really complicated? Well lets look this into:

From the beginning you can simply start farming in your own ship or just steal stuff from houses. So easy,isn't it? And I thought the 19th century was a hard-life. But RL has nothing to do with IG

After a while you'll mention that you got a Shamshir (With a DPS of 45-60...WHOOT! So much about weapon balance...) and other skill-enhancing items. You'll be able to hunt NPCs and just need like three sweep attacks to loot their surprises. But what if you get stolen from a thief? No Problem. With 6-man group you just need to thin him out and get more than just your reward. If you are in trouble,you can always load again or beam away =).And since I'm talking about trouble, you can also die very quickly without getting the opportunity to use a mixture

What about sea-battles? Ah. Let's say you got a tier 4 ship and fight against a tier 5 ship. It's Simple. You'll mention that the fight will become VERY long and if your unlucky, you'll just fail because your target is too far away. I know that kind of sailing is realistic but very boring. New POTC player won't be really fascinated by that but that's why we got time-doupler option...

Most of the annoying thing is that if there are many enemies,you get confused and can't get through your members. I'm sure you know what I mean according to the motto ''Leave some victims for me!''

I also mentioned that sea battles aren't really hard, even if you play as a''Swashbuckler''. Once you got a Tier 1-2 ship,there is nothing left as to agree with me. Lineships are rarely encountering and good enemies with nasty abilities & skill also encounter rarely. It doesn't help much also if you change random ship encounter from random to lvl-oriented.

Forts are easy to destroy and reward is a way too high which feels like a unbalance. How about to enable forts to build defense towers?


If more arguments come into my mind, then I'll just keep updating this thread. There are certainly more reasons but as you can see. I think that this game is easy to beat. What do you think? Are there any fixes necessary?
