Need Help Disabling reports

Anyway to disable the damage reports,cause when i fire at the enemy ships,i dont want to see +1 to skill cannons +1 to skill accuracy each hit.

Check the Advanced Options menu; there is all sort of stuff in there.

Also, pressing [L] in the game toggles various logs off. Can't remember if that is a part of it though.
