Dancing? Oh! It's difficult!

Hi to everyone, i'm an italian guy, than i'm sorry for my horrible english.
I've heavy problems with dancing: never finish with success every dance that i do! I'm playing at the maximum level, and really i don't understand when i must turn and when i must turn with circle. Someone can help me? ( peraphs my destiny is to remain single! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_eek.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_eek.gif" /> )
I hope that my post is clear enough. In my country nobody have a good forum as it, then i supposed that my english is good enough to try to post something here. Oh, damn! i'm a famous pirate, why i destroy my mind with this stupid question?! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

The Italian Pirate:
When she points to her left, you press 6 (on numeric keypad)
when she points to her right you press 4
when she points left and down you press 3
when she points right and down you press 1
when she pull her hands up and towards her press 8
when she pushes her hands towards you press 2
Hope that helps <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huhh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:k" border="0" alt="huhh.gif" />

Try starting at the lowest level (Apprentice) when she wants you to go somewhere, the relevant key to be pressed will light up briefly (not on your keyboard, but on the numeric keypad in the lower right corner of your screen) <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

She points in the direction you need to press. She points straight left when you should hit the left button (4). She points on an angle to the left when you should press the angle left button (1). She points straight at you (down) when you should press the down button (2). Just watch where she points and be ready to hit the button she pointed at.

Pretend she's the number 5 button, and press the corresponding button to where her arms point.

Aye,nuth'n like a women point'n an tell'n ye what te do,jest like real life <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

Don't worry about turning in a circle. That is done automatically if you get the timing perfect and is called a flourish. Just try to push the correct button.

Arrgh it be hard, but picking it up. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/diomed.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dio" border="0" alt="diomed.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pirate3.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p2" border="0" alt="pirate3.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />

The tip that helped me the most is one I've only seen posted rarely - go to your graphic options and turn things down a bit.

I had everything maxed, and never noticed a problem. But it seems that something behind the scenes was operating too slowly, and by the time my monitor showed me my date's hand signals, it was already too late half the time. I turned the graphics (resolution, details, etc) waaaay down, and my next dance was vastly improved. Not only that, but I didn't really notice much loss of detail, so I didn't really have to give anything up.

Best of luck, mate! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

there are only 10 combinations of dance steps you have to learn

1. right ........ left (6 times)
2. left ......... right (6 times)
3. turn left ......... turn right (6 times)
4. turn right ........ turn left (6times)
5. step forward ..turn left..turn left (2 times)
6. step forward..step backward..turn right..turn right.. (2 times)
7. step backward..turn left (4 times)
8. step left..turn right (4times)
9. step right..turn left (4times)
0. step backward..step forward..turn left..turn left (2 times)

the ........ shows the reaktion time between the moves
the wife sometimes take longer time to decide wich combination
she wants to dance
in harder levels the wive only take .. to get to next combination
so you have to find out really fast wich one it is
if you know all these combinations its really easy to make no failure
also on hard levels

if you have dancing shoes some failures will correctet that means
if you push wrong button he still make the right step
and you make more piruettes with the wife so she loves you faster

try it and you will see its really easy

I think the shoes are best working at the first two steps of a new
pattern, never stumble by those when pressing the wrong button.
But in the middle or end of a pattern it's less forgivingly.

And since I read a tip about counting the beats I make much more
flourishes. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

There are fewer than 10 combinations of moves, total. Most of the combinations are in groups of 4 steps, although there are several groups of 8 or 12 steps. You can always recognize a combination by the second move in it, at the latest. For example: If she starts a combination by moving straight left, she is starting either the left/right/left/right combination, or the left/right turn/left/right turn/left/right turn/left/right turn combination. If she starts with a left turn, she is doing a combination of 4 left turns. If she starts with a right turn, she is doing a combination of 4 right turns.

The ones that start with forward or backward are a little more difficult, although on the easier levels, a forward start usually means forward/left turn/left turn/forward/left turn/left turn/forward/left turn/left turn/forward/left turn. (I'm using left and right from the pirate's perspective, not the girl's perspective.)

To bad ye can't taunt her,make her dizzy so she stumbles an losses points with you <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

How come no body else ne'er be makin' no mistakes on de dance floor? Huh? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
