convert files

Hello, I'm desperate with this issue.
I've done my ship with Maya 5.0, but I can not convert the files to put in the game if someone could give me a tutorial I would be grateful, because a lot of work to make the ship and got to this point and I can not convert for the game.

I've had the same problem; I've made modifications to some models before, yet not been able to convert to GM format.
There are some tutorials floating around the forum, and some help files related to the Maya GM export plug-in, but none of them are hugely in-depth.
Still, have a look here for some guidance to start with.
If that's not enough help, I suggest you PM a modeller, who should be able to explain things clearly.
