Closed Townhall in Redmond

hello guys,

I hope you can help me with this. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I'm doing the main POTC quest with build13 final. Whenever I go to the townhall in redmond to report the results of the investigation at oxbay to the governor, I can't get out. The door is simply closed. I've tried to report the information about the French ammunition ship and even report after sink it, but the damned door is always closed <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
Everything else is normal, I can inform him in both cases and i receive the instructions to the next step in the log book, just can't go to the street.
What can I do to avoid it?

Can't you get out by using the "quick travel"?

No, I cannot use fast travel, because i only get the red X icon in the command menu.
But now that you refer it, is there a way to enable fast travel in a certain location where it is disabled like in this case?
 
Do you meet Raoul Rheims there at all? And do you get the relevant dialog with the governor?
 
Hi Pieter, no i didn't get there yet, i'm still reporting to the governor after sinking the ammunition ship. Now I should go to the port and escort english troops to greenford.

Did you try a new game and see if it those the same thing?

Yep, tried a new game two times already and it always happens. The problem is that I can't see anything wrong and besides that, everything in the quest is just normal.
I've teletransported my character to the street for now in order to continue the quest, but if you find out what's the problem please, tell me. I'll post here if I find a solution.

Really weird that, since it's Build 13 you're talking about. Thought the main quest was playable there. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />
 
ive noticed that every quest that need silehard has to be done in the opening hours of the dsay otherwise he will not spawn too.
or any other character that has a function in time.
 
Ah! That's a problem Hook fixed only VERY recently in the Build 14 Alpha files.
 
Silehard is supposed to be available during daylight hours, 0600 to 2200. It would be hard to meet with him outside those hours anyway as the town hall is locked. I removed the daylight hour limit on Silehard so we could meet him at 2300 in his bedroom.

Perhaps we should remove the daytime limit on ALL characters that you'd normally meet behind a door that would be locked at night to prevent such problems in the future.

For example, if I use fast travel to get to the store and arrive after 2200, the store is empty. Unless there's some game advantage to this, the store owner should be there. I won't be able to fast travel to the store after 2200 anyway, but I could do it just before 2200 and arrive in the store after 2200. We've gotten a few complaints about this in the forum already.
