I've decided to pre-order PotBS <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> who else is gonna be pre-ordering?

yepyep. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> apparantly, the game's not that good, but there are some good sides too. it's a bit of a hit-and-miss affair concerning gameplay.

I won't even buy this game.
No way I'm gonna pay a montly fee to play ...
MMO need mothly fees to keep up their servers ? Ohh please.. Guildwars has proven that doen't need to be...

All money bullcr*p if you ask me

Can´t really blame FLS for doing so. The interaction with other players is, afterall, the concept, the storyline, the coherence, the influence on the game that Akella really missed in a dusin "home" releases <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" />
 
Is this game really that awful? I've decided to sign up for the beta and see how it is. But if the game is THAT bad you describe... I won't buy it. Say, is there a good pirate online game which I could play? I used to play VCO for a while but I got bored after some time.

Since neither of the forum members in here is actually in the PotBS beta, we really can´t tell you how the game would be to you.

Of course, PotBS being a MMO and PotC being an SP adventure FPS, any comparison between the two games is difficult to make. I still think PotBS is worth a try though, but I am quite sure we´ll both soon be back with the PotC Builds! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" />
 
Thank you for welcoming me. I already know this website and used to be member here b4 I became inactive (Pokerface). But now I'm back here. I need a pirate game to spend my time with. Say,... how is Age of Pirates Caribbean Tales? I am from Germany and couldn't find it in the game shop..... I need some Entertainment..to board, plunder and sink ships.. like I did in Sea Dogs and PotC <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Ah yes, I nearly forgot... If anyone of you will participate in the open beta of Pirates of the burning sea, I'll be happy to play with you guys.

try puzzle pirates. if you send me your email adress, i'll send you a sign-up message for the game. it's not entirely free, but you can very easily work around the bits that you normally need to pay for without cheating.
