cant install 13 and other problems

well i cant install build 13 full, re-dled it 4 times, still about 90% of the way it gives me and error, Corrupt setup file, last file i saw was Kapitan.tga.tx, tried other topics, did following things it told me. So 13 cant install but 12.1full works fine, but looks like theres some mixing textures in my game. For examples.. I cant see my sails, and some textures are white. any ideas? i tried installing 12.1 and then 13full but doesnt work, but when i play how come it says build 13.0.... so on


oh i know why the sails are missing its cuz i installed 13full, stopped at that file but then played it as 13 but with missing stuff... arg just installed 12.1 again, it isnt as fun as being jack sparrow =( i wanna play build 13, and yeah the textures happen in 12.1 too, the island are white, some of the ships, the small boat that takes me to my ship and its crew are white.

Try to install:
1) Build 12.1
2) Pre Build 13 Base
3) Build 13 Update 3 Full
4) If the game crashes, get the fixed LAi_fightparams.c file that can be found somewhere on the forum.

I had exactly the same problem. I'm guessing that the built13_full.exe file located on your "Pieter's Pirates Page Mirror" site is corrupted. I downloaded it three times and each time the same error: Unpacking Error: corrupted setup file!

I'm downloading the pre_b13_base.zip and b13_update3_full.zip files so hopefully I should be good to go. <img src="http://209.85.48.9/10430/178/emo/ja.gif" border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> Although I'll try the file which is hoisted on Filefront first, mayhaps this file isn't corrupted.

Can somebody please confirm that the Build 13 installer from my site indeed is corrupted. Please only do this if you previously downloaded a working copy from my site. NOT the FileFront link. If the file indeed is corrupted, it'll need replacing, but I can't upload a 300+ MB file from the ship I'm on. Takes too long and is ridiculously expensive. Perhaps Pirate_KK could do it; he should have access to the webspace.

just downloaded B13 FULL (the 368 mb file) off of your site
(not the filefont variant) Don't know which variant I have been playing on.

installing now to test it. Will take a little time to playtest, just checking install stability now.

1 - its installing files now (self check passed)

2 - 3/4 way through the install it errors out.

really odd, as my original working version came from your site.
so I re-tried installing it on a fresh version of POTC, still errors out.

No idea what happened between B13 full and B13 full from the same site on different days.

In that case the file probably DID become corrupted. DARN! Somebody else will need to upload it though. I just cannot do it from aboard the ship I'm on.
