Report bugs, glitches, and errors on the Build Mod, Post Build Mod, and Pre Build 13 Betas. This tool will allow quick and easy reference to problems found in Post Build Mod 12 (which is aiming to become the stable and released Build Mod 13). It can also serve as a place to track future problems encountered by each new patch to the process.

If people use this tool, it could help the mod developers out to see and notice all bug reports. It is an advanced, yet easy to use system (I had no idea how to use it until I ran through it a couple times and now pretty sure know how everything works!).

You can still discuss all bugs and issues here in the forums. It is encouraged! However, it will be most beneficial that every bug you mention or bring up in the forums, you make a quick and painless entry into the Bug Tracker. Do you know how difficult it is to pour through pages upon pages of discussion to find the ACTUAL bug that was mentioned?

Use the tool if you wish. No one is forcing you. It is there as a tool for the community, and is free and effortless to use.

Enjoy

Thanks a LOT, IncredibleHat! I would also request everybody to use that bug tracker. It's much easier to work that way. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

I will post comments on all reported bugs on the bugtracker site instead of on this forum. That way all comments are grouped with every bug.

The biggest problem is that approx 30% of the " Bugs " are NOT Bugs. I've noticed that in some of the posts people have reported issues that they don't like in the game & have called them a bug.

Or they see a character skin & because they don't like it, they say it's a Graphic Glitch. Or they see something that dont like & because they cant figure out how to turn it off or change it in the settings they call it a BUG & report it.

The other 70% are bug issues that definitely need to be dealt with.

Lets keep the Bug Reporting real & in focus & dont report something as a bug simply cause you dont want it ingame.

If there is something you want to change or dont like & you dont know how to rectify it, put a post in " asking for help " or " how do I change this ". The majority of the time there is always someone around that can give you constructive advice on how to change something or tweak a particular setting or turn something off.

If something could be adjusted because it is a hinderance, then it should be brought up so someone in the know could make a setting for it or something.

Not everyone in the world knows how to alter everything in the four thousand files that make up the game.

There is a category for some feature requests.

If it is something that cannot be done in game, or in the Build Settings application, then it needs to be addressed before a public release of the completed build mod.

Graphic glitches are basically anything that looks fugly that could be cleaned up. Since due to the nature of the game engine, textures is about all that can be added/changed, and as such, if someone does a lowsy job on one, that should be noted so it could be made better.

Small reports like that are never flagged as high priority, or major issues. They are easily filtered out.

That's right, and so instead of saying it's a bug simply cause they dont understand how to change the code they should make a post asking " How to change so & so ". That's why there are sub forums called Build Beta, Build Technical & Build Alpha & Brainstorming.

This I know, never said otherwise.

The reference on the bug report to the graphic glitch had nothing to do with something looking fugly, ( as you put it ), or anything to do with the game engine, someone reported that " They didn't like the eyes on the Jack Sparrow2 skin ", simply cause they didnt like it, so all of a sudden it becomes a ' Graphics Glitch '

That was more of a report, to get the reports tool rolling. Most of the early 1-30 reports were to test out the new system I put up.

And the bright eyes of that jack sparrow skin really are nasty <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> He looks like a weenie! That's ok. I use the other jack sparrow skin which looks PERFECT (actually don't know why someone botherered to put a second skin in at all!!!)
