Drat! Too late..... I just got caught in a storm and the roll angle did not appear so there was no fear of capsizing.

Ok, I'm confused. :unsure What is the difference between defense and defence? The second spelliing makes me think of...."Go to de fence and stop." In American football games you will often see fans carrying a large "D" and a section of picket fence. When held up together they mean Dfence as in the first spelling. :shrug

I think "defense" is American spelling. "Defence" is the English spelling. The idea was to make all instances use the same spelling instead of having the two mixed up.

AH! Thanks for catching that! Easily fixed in common.ini . :doff
 
Nope.

Anyway, I replaced the EXE again with common.ini edited to fix that uncapitalised "defence" text.

I've been randomly seeing those on occasion as well. But when I tried to actually test them and fix them, it didn't happen. :modding
 
But everytime I play, the error.log with the code

EDIT: Is it something that I changed in the InternalSettings.h again?:modding

Thanks a lot! I made a slight change as well to indicate you don't need Part 1 from the ModDB if you use the updated installer posted here.
That will install the latest version in one go.
 
Uhm, where'd the trailer go? What if that is to be added in the opening of the game? :cheeky - before or after the pirates ahoy logo. :D

While I was playing, I noticed there is a negative ransom. seadogs2_0000.jpg seadogs2_0001.jpg (attached save, check passengers)
I used Levis' updated Extra Atmosphere MOD v1.1, (info),
now in Tortuga, there is an interfering officer and I can't properly talk to Gibbs because of this. seadogs2_0002.jpg seadogs2_0003.jpg seadogs2_0004.jpg
so I have to kill that officer first to be able to talk to Gibbs. seadogs2_0005.jpg (.log files attached)

Wow, that ransom cost is INSANE! I suspect it is because of an incorrect conversion from string to integer.
But from what I understand of the code, that shouldn't actually be possible. Do you still have that prisoner? And/or a savegame?

Also, I suspect that character there is due to the Levis' Extra Atmosphere mod.
You might want to post it in that thread too.
 
Hmmm....I check for free locators and fill them but I noticed too sometimes it doesn't seem to work.... guess those characters are added later and therefore the locators are free first. Need to look into seeing if I can change the order so monsters are added last.

Defence vs. defense
Defence and defense are different spellings of the same word. Anything new? Have'nt played in like 3 weeks.Been with other games like Europa universalis 4 and recently got black flag. Last i played i had some ctd or something can't remember.Maybe it was some mutiny that ended my game and i was put off lol!! I'll try it again see what's ironed.
