Build 14 Alpha 9

I don't know what causes that but it goes away if you save and reload.

I get it occasionally even after reinstalling everything to make sure it was done correctly.
 
Weird, I'm not sure how to fix your problem then. =\ Im currently having lag issues with the island of Barbados.

Well, I can get the game to start, but I seem to be having a few problems. I keep getting a problem where I enter a new area and suddenly there are no exits, and my menu has all possible selections, and none of them work. This is accompanied by being able to shoot infinitely, and most of the people disappearing.

yes i have seen same problem some times. then i just quit and load game again. if that happens and you press enter there appears alot of command keys but nothing works
 
Does that happen if you change any of the options in the "Options" menu? I know that messes up the game pretty badly.
Better change options before starting/loading a game.

Seriously though, I usually put together the files for download, but the actual content is mostly made by other members,
including pirate_kk, Hook, Short Jack Gold, Bartolomeu o Portugues, Thomas the Terror, ZarethPL, damski62 and many others.
Actually, officially pirate_kk is the person who puts together the files for download ever since I was at sea for many months.
While I'm back though, I have unofficially taken that over from him again so he can work on his own modding.
 
Thats pretty cool I've been working on my own mod for quiet sometime.

Well I've never played PotC before until yesterday, and I'm use to FPS controls. Like WASD movement, E being an action key, etc. When I first started playing it took me almost an hour to use use to the controls. But that's just me. I'm okay with them now.
 
You can change the controls in the options menu.
I always play with WASD movement as well and E IS an action key; for equip. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

I had probebly no choice du to the lack of Models, I'll change him next patch.

P.S: About the man without a face can you take a pic of him directly so we know whitch models is it?

Deep into the Jack Sparrow story, the game stilll has'nt crashed yet. Not once!
Sorry, but i find it impossible to not getting just a bit entuithiastic about this. Maybe B14 will be as stable as 13 was <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" />

Coming weekend I'm hoping to compile and release an all-new-content-in-one-file download for testing.
