Build 14 Alpha 9

We've got the files for that; you can already select them in Choose Sails.
I suppose we'd have to make it automatic at some point though.
So... Wicked Wench: plan sails, first time Black Pearl: whole black sails, Barbossa Black Pearl: torn black sails,
after fort scene (end CotBP): patched sails. Right?

The ship is cursed as well <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

not realy, the crew was cursed and they made the weird fog appear around the ship, its not like the ship itself could pick one of those nice coins, could it?

Ask the scriptwriters. I don't understand why any of that fog should appear around the ship either.
The reason for that is never mentioned anywhere in the movie.
Maybe the Pearl got enchanted when she was raised by Davy Jones in the first place?
That could explain the speed, but not the fog.

ok, something realy, REALY weird just happened to me.

i started the jack sparrow quest, but when it was done loading i was at the tortuga docks, playing this guy called guy kersinski ((not sure about the last name) (he was the character that is with danielle green when you first meet her, before going to jail) and he said to go to the tavern, there was nothing in my questbook but i desided to try it anyway, but i couldnt get into the tavern and when i wanted to try fast travel, there were things like opening a chest, talking, etc...

you know what, just forget that i said that xD:

Most of that is intentional; the last part probably got caused by you opening the Options screen
while having a game loaded. Tip: Don't do that; it messes things up. ;)

but i only just opened the game, and i eccidentaly clicked options, i didnt know it messed up the game that much to just click options

I know what you mean ;)

Pieter maybe we should disable the advanced option button as soon as new game is started :?

Ive had this several times myself, but I always quicksave before I do, and when youi load the save everything is a ok again. So its not actually a big deal.

Maybe we can disable the Options buttong the same way as the New Game button,
but I'm not at all sure on how the interfaces work. And maybe someone would want to save,
change the options, then reload the save, which wouldn't be possible if it's disabled. :facepalm

i just got a runtime error while using direct sail to go to curacao, as soon as i got the land ho! loading screen, i got the runtime error, the same happened before while going to barbados using direct sail

btw, did anybody else notice that the 'short' sword is extualy longer than a rapier? xD:

Soooo. I just randomly had the craving to play this game. Played it on the original Xbox way back when...

Anddd, everything's running, and whatnot. Not but a few bugs I've noticed.

One, I know many are aware, since I've already read over it, is the side-stepping bug (go through walls, and kind of float, you know? Not a big deal, really. xD)

But, I've been looking around to see if anyone's had a way around this one I have... I can't open chests... Or, better yet, I can't seem to activate anything, really. I can start conversations, etc. But, when I want to activate an object, such as a chest... I cannot. This COULD be intentional, though I don't know why it would be, really... ANYWAYS, any advice would be appreciated. :D

To activate conversations the button is "space" and to open chests and get object the button is "F3" (have you tried F3)
