Build 13 - New ship retrofit

Hello everyone, I've spent a few hours taking all the new ships that have been added to the build since build 13 and arranging them to be backwards compatible with the old build and I thought I might put it up for download for anyone else interested in having these cool new ships, and who is using build 13 final.

Build 14 has some very cool new features, but it is an alpha and therefore not very stable for when you just want to play. So if you are like me and enjoy playing a stable release when not testing/working on the new one but also really like the cool new ship models then this may be for you.

Nice work Dr. Maturin. This will be perfect for the persons who want to add the new ships, but can't do it and there for coming here to ask newb questions that are on the forum here. So again. Thank you!
 
If you did it a month before, Doctor, i would say thousand "thank you" to you.....but now im already playing with the Build Alpha 14 and dont intend to play the Build 13 anymore....

but i must say good work, Doctor....i hope many people will enjoy <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
 
Well I did it for myself and thought I'd share it for whoever wants it. I noticed the fast barque has no sails though, I don't know if it has that problem with 14 alpha 8 or it occured somehow with moving it.
 
The ship has no sails, because it uses other sails as default, which seems you have not ported. So if you pick some sails yourself they should be back.

The HMS Surprise that we have is already in Build 13 as "British Frigate".

I'm very sorry Morgan, my apologies. Yes I believe you do because in build 14 the 'fearless' ship was changed to a Lineship and this causes a no rAP data crash in old games. If I had merged the files without overwriting that part it probably would not, you'd have to use winmerge for it but it could be done
 
rats. oh well, i guess i'll just continue with this savegame for the sake of the logbook.
 
All the way on the upper-right corner of the forum, there should be a "Downloads" button.
You should be able to submit your file there. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />
 
Have a look at the SoFS model thread if you haven't yet, Maturin. We've now gotten official permission to use the SoFS models, and I'd love to see them all added to build 13, build 14 and AoP. **grins**

I also get an error every time I try to use the downloads section, Damski. I've given up on that and just broken down and installed an FTP program so I can grab stuff directly.
