Black Pearl

How do i get the Black Pearl in the game? I currently have just downloaded the Build 12 and am downloading Build 13 as we speak.

In Build 12 you can't really get the game without changing anything in the code. You do encounter her at the end of the main quest though. In Build 13 you can capture the Pearl, but it's still the same model as in the original game, which IS a black ship with torn sails, but looks nothing like the film-Pearl at all. In Build 14 Alpha this model has been replaced with the real film-version of the Black Pearl made by Kazeite.

Is this mod going to follow the movie of some sort?
or does it just use movie models but not the story?

The original game didn't have much to do with the movie, except for a very inaccurate Black Pearl that you would encounter occasionally. The further we go with the modding, the more movie-like the game becomes. In Build 13 you can play as Jack Sparrow or Will Turner, but the storyline is still pretty much the same. Now in the Build 14 Alpha version we're working on, the main quest is slightly rewritten to be similar to a prequel to Curse of the Black Pearl and you will encounter Cutler Beckett, Barbossa and Davy Jones. You still can't play the events from the films though. Of course open-ended RPG gameplay doesn't really work very well with the films' story, but we're trying to get as close as we can.
