Beyond `Super-woo`?

kichigai_inu

Landlubber
I often manage to get enough flourishes in a row to make the little hearts go around the big heart two times. I have also almost gotten it to wrap three times occasionally but so far have always missed a flourish at about the 2 3/4 mark. I haven't noticed anything extra happening at two full wraps, does anyone know if anything special happens at three? Do the extra flourishes beyond what is needed for a `super-woo` matter? If not, why does the game bother keeping track?

I do not think anything else happens. I would imagine the game keeps track because you could still mess up and you want to build up as much "`woo-ing` power" as you can. When you mess up it will deduct from your total. Just a guess...

Sheesh. You guys are much better at wooing than me if you can manage 2 and 3/4 hearts. I'm really lucky to manage one throbbingly full heart.

It´s just practicing, and getting the timing right. You´ll manage it. I did one of my best dances in 48 years old, when those little hearts are harder to get. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

<snicker> I've got the dancing slippers, and STILL I stumble - it's that forward/backward signal that has me foxed... I enjoy the dancing, tho... But I just got married to a governor's BEAUTIFUL daughter, and am at 10/10 for wooing... Only got ONE super woo from her and she still married my clumsy old self... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> Must be love! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> (either that, or it's the uniform and fancy hat!) <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Aye Catalina,be de forward ,backward thrust 'at gets me every time'ur maybe it'd be de fancy uniform throws me off, ain't used tew wear'n such duds <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

It's when the camera closes in - her hand signals get lost behind your hat or your head or shoulder. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Dang,it'd be a good thing I'd not be look'n fer hand signals from Black Beard ur Henry Morgan,ur Ol' Skull would be Toast,no offence Cap'n Toast <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

@palindrome

Try to get these aweful dancing shoes...with them you can make some wrong steps without loosing the hearts <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

The boots and slippers will not save your small hearts. When you are saved by the boots or slippers you do not do a flourish, you just don't mess up. Whenever you do not do a flourish, be it just a regular dance move by you or a save by an item, all you hearts disappear.

there are only 10 combinations of dance steps you have to learn

1. right ........ left (6 times)
2. left ......... right (6 times)
3. turn left ......... turn right (6 times)
4. turn right ........ turn left (6times)
5. step forward ..turn left..turn left (2 times)
6. step forward..step backward..turn right..turn right.. (2 times)
7. step backward..turn left (4 times)
8. step left..turn right (4times)
9. step right..turn left (4times)
0. step backward..step forward..turn left..turn left (2 times)

the ........ shows the reaktion time between the moves
the wife sometimes take longer time to decide wich combination
she wants to dance
in harder levels the wive only take .. to get to next combination
so you have to find out really fast wich one it is
if you know all these combinations its really easy to make no failure
also on hard levels

if you have dancing shoes some failures will correctet that means
if you push wrong button he still make the right step
and you make more piruettes with the wife so she loves you faster

try it and you will see its really easy

Beyond `super-woo`? I think I may be missing out one something here, the best you can get is one big throbbing heart right?

If you get enough flourishes and few mistakes you get an ending to the dance where you don't just kiss her hand. You get a dip, a cleavage shot, and a kiss on the mouth. This is called a `super-woo`. The better looking the girl, the more flourishes you need and the less mistakes you can have.

I believe he is asking What is beyond `SUPER-WOO`. Since they title of this thread is.. BEYOND `super-woo`. As far as I know there is nothing BEYOND `super-woo`. ???

No there isn't. Besides, the only thing that could top a cleavage shot would put the games' rating into the M category.

I find it somewhat amusing that many users here are, um.. excited by a cartoon picture in a game. Why not simply turn off the game and go walk through your local mall? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dev.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":d:" border="0" alt="dev.gif" />

Well I'm married so a walk through the mall is unnecessary, not to mention `off-limits`. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> It's not like I'm trying to get a `super-woo` just to see some cartoon cleavage, but you seem to get better rewards after a `super-woo`.

I must have impressed the heck out of one of the gov's (attractive) daughters - my first dance with her I stumbled a few times and then got it going and got the "kiss on the hand" woo - and afterwards she gave me a puffy shirt! WhooHOO! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

This is my second career playing SMP, and I started at Rogue and am playing for the French with the Fencing skill. I chose the 1620 era. I got a tip about Morgan right off and after I'd captured ten ships and found his treasure (a very short time into the game), I encountered him on the sea and my `nineteen-year`-old disgustingly healthy character beat him handily.

<img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> Maybe I should have started on Swashbuckler? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
