Bad health

is it anything I can do to change my health status ?.. couse its very very bad atm

Get items which increase your health, choose medicine as a skill, and apparently not getting stabbed during duelling all help you live longer.

If all else fails, the fountain [read: button] of eternal youth might help:

medicine as a skill? hehe whats that ? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Im around 40 ages old in game now, have killed 8 other pirates and have around `50-60` in fame... but havent seen any skills soo far.. or maybe Im only in start of the game ? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> or playing it wrong way...

At the beginning of a game (except your very first game, where it's `auto-picked` for you), you have the choice of choosing your skill, time era and difficulty in the tavern where you enter you name.
