Arr.. I be filthy stink'n rich

Oh, so the stock Pearl can now be boarded and taken as a prize? Well, if you disable that by default, then after I finish walk file my <i>Pearl</i> could replace the stock one (as long as no player is allowed to walk around her <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />)

While making walk file for crewmember I've learned two things:
One, number of points they can walk to is apparently limited by ship's class - one the class 5 ship crewmembers were using only four or five points instead of all 20 available.

Two, crew losses seems to be dictated by minimal crew number. Thus, while I had minimum crew number set to 6, I could lose half of the crew after one medium-sized broadside. Talk about blood bath <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

hehehe. please finish the walk file, Kazeite. you'd be making me and several other pirate/ admirals very happy <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/jackhat.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":j2" border="0" alt="jackhat.gif" />

You want to make her unboardable again? I like the fact that you can now capture the Pearl. Otherwise the player would never get to sail the Pearl, only sink her. I want to keep her boardable. But luckily Pirate_KK added a BuildSettings.h toggle on this when he made the Pearl boardable: REALISTIC_BLACKPEARL. Set to 0 and the Black Pearl can not be boarded anymore. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doff" border="0" alt="doff.gif" />

Well, the correct phrase would be "I'd like to", not "I want" <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> I do remember being dissapointed in inability to board the <i>Pearl</i> in that final battle - although, to be honest, ramming her and then smashing against the rock was the next best thing <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Anyway, you're the modpack compiler, so, in my book, that means you have to final say about it. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Well, I just rammed her the first chance I've got, right after the battle has started, when she still tried to close the distance, and then she kinda zigged when she should've zagged and sailed right into the Khael Roa rocks, with me breathing down her neck. Since the collision rendered her a immobile target, smashing her against the rocks again was kinda easy... Although I did lost a bowsprit in the process... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

that's the downside of ramming things, mate! leave that to roman triremes! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/jackhat.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":j2" border="0" alt="jackhat.gif" />
anyway, how's progress on the walk file?

Very good, thank you <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> I just need to add points on the poop deck and ratlines.

It's kinda slow, because I have no way of veryfying coordinates outside of the game. So, I change one coordinate, load the game, note whether the change is good or not, exit the game, change one coordinate, load the game...

woah. boring work for the good of the community! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/jackhat.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":j2" border="0" alt="jackhat.gif" />

Hehe. Then my final say is this: There already IS a toggle and I'll leave that in. I will have it on by default, so by default the Pearl is boardable. It is easy to turn it off it you don't want to though. That should satisfy everyone, right? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />

I wish you the best of luck with making the walk file. Sounds like absolutely horrid work, so thanks a LOT for doing it anyway! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="bow.gif" />

<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hi.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":gday" border="0" alt="hi.gif" /> there, Kazeite,

I've got your BP in my game as THE quest Black Pearl, changing the model file names, as well as modifying the existing shipsinit. file. I tested her first and everything apart from the already mentioned path and walk files seems to be fine. Excellent work there, matey. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" /> Hoping you can create new path and walk files by the time I get around to taking her on at the end of the main quest... I'd love to be able to capture her as a great prize and have everything "shipshape". Considering the little amount of time I'm getting to play lately, that won't be for some time yet. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Cheers <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
