As far as my knowledge in russian allows me I understood that this would be new addon to COAS. Why am I not happy? Well it's a RUSSIAN addon which means it's not playable for us without translation....

Man we have to speak with some russian members to hellp us out...

you can mod sails atm if you want pretty simple mod to the ships_init.c file add the line
refship.EmblemedSails.normalTex = "ships\parus_uncommon.tga";
with parus_uncommon.tga the name of your custom sail creation, change the name accordingly. and place the modded texture where the parus_common.tga sail texture is.

but you will need to start a new game to see the updated texture on your actual ship atm.
 
why don't we just create savegame editor in order to avoid starting new game after modifying somethin?
 
Why not add in a console or reinititialization functionality like in the PotC Build mod?

Or you could edit the default file, that should take effect immediately, no?
 
dunno what the default file is but i could try, i was not modding aop a ton back in the day just simple texture edits and such. but seems a lot of stuff gets saved in your save game file so it locks a lot of changes from effect.

Initially, the studio "Seaward.Ru" it was stated that the scripts are playing "Le Corsaire: City of Lost Ships" will be available to all comers, and this is expected with the next patch for the game. But precious time went by and the story that did not have any moves.

After some time at the studio "Seaward.Ru" all the same pop-up issue, which dealt with the application teams, wishing to make various modifications to the game, and we did not fail to seize the opportunity and, of course, filed its application. Too many addons comming out, very confusing! Feels like the day I get my hands on AOP2, AOP3 will be around the corner or a new game altogether.

If City of Abandoned Ships is version 1.3 I'm assuming the Russian version was 1 as theres two update patches 1.1 and 1.2 for the Russian game that was released in 2007 I think and reference to POTC in both AOP and AOP2.

Kind of like the move pirates of the Caribbean were they did all 3 at the same time?
